KAZE NO MAKI
- Do not allow the words to hold back your understanding. As words,
they are inadequate. Remember that this is to be your own experience.
Let the words point you in a direction: you make the trip yourself.
- Do not carry too long a sword, nor too short.
- A stance is waiting. Stances are meant to be taken when there is
no opponent. Stances are defensive. In a battle, do not take a
stance, attack.
- Do not fix your concentration on one thing, just do it. A juggler
does not concentrate on each ball. Fixating on minor concerns loses
you the greater picture.
- Do not necessarily move with speed, but with rhythm.
